Default remembering the days when two strokes ruled..

yeah will def stick around edger, thanks for the welcome, and undgsx-R will post some pics of my bikes soon this infernal rain stops..lol
hey most of you older riders will remember the good ole days when the two strokes ruled the roads, in my shed a suzuki 500t titan sits awaiting me to get off my butt and finish restoring her, mind in my defence i drag her out every summer fire her up and polish her bright work. problem is bikes nowadays more or less ride themselves, my zx10r has been race tuned for road and track and will easily hit the 200mph, well thats if you han hold on to it,lol..being 6ft 2" my head kinda pokes over the screen, wind dam near rips my head off at 175mph so dont tempt fate anymore, know how it feels to headbutt the tarmac at silly speeds and it dam well hurts, and as you get older it hurts even more...
so remembering the days of the mighty two stroke, brings back memories of pain and broken bones, many a time i've come howling into a bend, and suddenly realising the bike just aint gonna go around it, so its wind on and hope gravity takes control, but instead the bikes rear end twitches and buks and just refuse's to do it, time to test out the wranglers again, cant sit on my ass for a week again, an even moving your eyes hurt..lol so i guess reflecting on the good ole days of these monsters is why the titan stays in the shed, and i save money on medical bills and wranglers...

I'm a huge two stroke fan, both street and dirt. My first street bike was a 1973 Yamaha AT3.

Hey, I just read in one of my boating mags that 2-stroke outboards are now cleaner and more efficient that their 4-stroke cousins. Just maybe they'll bring back 2-stroke bikes. I had a 250 X-6 Suzuki Hustler for a number of years. Then, I bought a new GS550, and I was disappointed that it just wouldn't scoot like my old 2-stroke!
